Tuttle-Click Ford and Capistrano Ford has partnered up with the Boys and Girls Club to help battle the Coronavirus. Since closing their doors in March, the organization has delivered more than 5,000 meals and activity kits to members and local families in need as part of their COVID-19 Emergency Food Program. Tuttle-Click Automotive Group supports Challenged Athletes Foundation.
Tuttle-Click Automotive Group is committed to partnering with the Challenged Athletes Foundation, who is dedicated to changing the lives of challenged athletes of all ages and abilities. Last year, this foundation provided almost 4,000 individual grants for adaptive sports equipment, coaching, travel funding, and competition expenses totaling 5.9 million in support. We are honored to be a part of their mission!
Boy & Girls Club - Youth of the Year Awards
On January 15, we spent the evening celebrating the accomplishments of our members in the prior year. Our First Annual Blue Door Awards was attended by nearly 300 people to recognize more than 100 youth in 12 categories. Highlights of the evening included the official launch of our Ford Junior Youth of the Year program, made possible by the Ford Fund, and partnership with Tuttle-Click Capistrano Ford, including our first-ever Ford Junior Youth of the Year, Marianne Harrington. We also named Bianca Medina as Youth of the Year. She will now compete against the Youth of the Year winners from the other Orange County Boys & Girls Clubs.

Capistrano Ford supports our Troops
Capistrano Ford Team had a great time representing our dealership while supporting out troops by raising money for the “Socks for our Heros” program. Rich Rader, Tuttle-Click Fixed Operations Director, Pat Didonato (Capistrano Ford Parts Manager) and three Capistrano Ford long time customers did very well. The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach Recognized Tuttle-Click Automotive at National Philanthropy Day's 31st Anniversary
November 17th marked the anniversary of the 31st annual National Philanthropy Day. This day recognizes the great contribution philanthropy makes to our society and to honor individuals, businesses, and organizations that are active in the philanthropic community. This highly respected recognition day is coordinated and is supported on an international scale by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). This year, the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach was thrilled to recognize Tuttle-Click Automotive for their tremendous support over the years with the Club. General Manager, Al Dimont and Marketing Manager, Shirley Dordell of Tuttle-Click were in attendance at this year's luncheon.
The Tuttle-Click Automotive Group has done an incredible amount of charitable work in the communities where it does business. Nonprofits, schools, and other charities benefit a great deal around the six Orange County-based dealerships operated by Tuttle-Click. Bob Tuttle and Jim Click, owners and George Saad, the Vice-President, have created a strong culture of volunteerism and philanthropy in the company. Tuttle-Click Automotive has been a huge help to the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, which is one of the primary recipients of the company's philanthropy. They have supported the Club for many years at the annual Art of Giving Gala, and have helped to
double the funds raised each time. Around $500,000 is raised by the Gala each year. Also, Carrie Click has chaired the Gala in the past and currently serves on the Board of Directors at the Club. The Tuttle-Click Mazda dealership also sends employees out to volunteer every year for the Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at the Club's Bluebird Park branch. In 2015 the Club celebrated the enormous contributions of the Clicks by dedicating the snack bar of the new Lang Branch as the Click Café. Additionally, George Saad sits on the Advisory Board for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley. The leadership at Tuttle-Click Automotive are primary drivers of the philanthropy and volunteer movement at the company, which touches many facets of the nonprofit world. With over 500 employees in Orange County, their philanthropic work is reaching many people who need it. Due to leadership involvement in philanthropy, a culture of volunteerism, and financial support of community institutions and charities, Tuttle-Click Automotive is deserving of recognition at this year's National Philanthropy Day.

On Thursday, March 10th the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach hosted their annual Community Breakfast at Seven Degrees restaurant. Tuttle-Click was given the Corporate Partner Award, accepted by George Saad. Tuttle-Click has supported the Boys & Girls Club for many years with their largest fundraiser, and helped to almost double the funds raised.

Mazda | Boys and Girls Club | 20th Annual Golf Tournament
This past September, 140 golfers enjoyed an exciting day of golf at El Niguel Country Club in Laguna Niguel. The Title Sponsor, Tuttle-Click Mazda, not only sponsored several local Marines for the day, they also helped raise $60,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley. Tuttle-Click Mazda was a proud sponsor of Walk for Wishes and Make A Wish Foundation. On April 9 & 16 they hosted the 6th annual 2mile walk in Irvine and Riverside. The event included games, food and live entertainment. Several employees joined the walk and help bring life-changing wishes to children battling life-threatening illnesses. the events raised $169,669. Thank you to everyone who participated.
